Good local hardware stores (not the HQ/HomeDepot types) sell wine corks
with flat plastic tops that fit just fine -- I bought 5 in my paranoia that
I would end up in-sail without a cork.

They're in the section with all the little drawers full of things like lamp
parts, electrical connectors, o-rings, etc.
