I'd like to know how to deal with this.
When I lower the mains'l The boom also lowers into the cockpit
If one is trying to Reef the sail, which I've yet to do, wouldn't
The boom get in the way. Would it be a good idea to run a wire from
the top of the mast to the rear of the boom to hold it horizontal
while the sail is down?
When stowing the Mains'l should I wrap it around the boom? Does
this increase the wear over much on the sail?
I have the jiffy reefing system which I've pobably rigged wrong.
How do I double reef this sail? Do I add eye-lets or sail ties?
Where would they go?
