I have had no problems raising the mask on my P-19 by hand. I leave the=
=0Acompanion way hatch shut with the board in place and stand on the end =
of the=0Ahatch. My wife handles the CDI, and after I get the mask up I w=
alk forward=0Aand help her insert the pin. This gives me plenty of lever=
age to raise the=0Amask.

Has anyone had a UV protection strip added to their Jib? Our Jib (tanbar=
k) is=0Astarting to fade after only two seasons. I trailer the boat and=
keep a cover=0Aon it most of the time. I don=92t know if the cost would=
be worth it,=0Aconsidering the cost of a new sail.

A couple of weeks ago I had my best sail yet. We had 4 miles "Wing and W=
ing"=0Aand maintained greater than 6 knots for half a mile, with a Max of=
6.3 knots.=0AThis speed was by GPS on a lake with no current. We must h=
ave been partially=0Aplaning.
