About what percentage of your main sail area is taken up by your first and
second reef. I have a short rig with one deep reef and am curious if I dare
try Superior as is. My thinking is that since it's a deep reef I could take
it in and then further scandalize the main by hoisting the toping lift.
What's your opinion?

I have been following your Lake Superior posts with a great deal of
interest. Not this year, but I hope to be posting some of my own someday.
BTW would you be interested in combining all your posts into one document
for the web page?
