In a message dated 98-08-25 20:50:01 EDT, you write:

<< a hole at the base of the vberth where the electric wires run thru
and I have never found any others. >>

This is the forward drain from the cabin sole to outer hull. IM uses it to
also (or maybe originally intended it as) to run the cabin & mast wiring...

The hull drain is at the aft keel lower end.

"bilge pump drain also above the water line. Now all I have to do is finish
hooking up the bilge pump (never have needed it, just a safety precaution)."

Careful where you place the outlet for bilge pump. It might end up under
water. You might need a checkvalve.

To quote an old message "The check valve is available at Boat US for $12.95.
I cut the 3/4" I.D. hose and inserted the valve using Life seal and hose
clamps. It is
located about a foot from the pump."
