P-15 Weight on trailer

Thanks to all for the tiller advice. I made a push-pull rod to raise and
lower the rudder. It is a must to have in shallow lakes. Otherwise, your
hanging over the transom ready to get wet. I also used a beer tap as my
handle, looks great..:)
I have another question to ponder?? Has anyone used there P-15 on a trailer
as a camper? If so, did you ever wonder how much weight was max for
trailer? I mainly have concern for the bunks being driven into the boat
bottom. We are talking about 550 pounds for a family of four. I would like
to make the cockpit into one large bed with a tent overhead. Thanks, for the
