Wear Web Gang:
I need some help on where to place the slugs on my new P-15 mainsail. I'm
concerned about placing the slugs in such a manner as to keep the large upper
batten from binding. I would appreciate assistance from those P-15 sailors
who have slugs and don't have trouble with their large upper batten binding
when raising or lowering the sail. Where did you place the slugs in relation
to the upper batten? Where did you place the other slugs? Did you place a
slug at the very top and the very bottom of the mainsail? How many slugs do
you have?
Quite frankly, I don't recall where I placed the slugs on my previous P-15.
I do remember that I had a slug right at the batten that I learned to avoid
using.
When you go sailing this weekend, please give your sail a look and help me
out.
Thanks to you all.
