ok, ok, I forgot to divide by 2 to get the CORRECT area of a triangle. The
measurements are along the mast side 14.5 ft and along the bottom 8.5, so
make it about 62 SF. And I'm supposed to be an engineer!!!! Anyway, from
the rest of your description, I can say that the sail comes about 1 ft past
the mast, so it sounds like it's a lapper type of sail. BTW, were Odessey
sails the original equipment, or do I have a replaced sail?
