Gell batteries aren't as forgiving as flooded batts when it comes to
'automotive type' chargers. They don't have the correct "charging curve" that
gel (deep cycle for that matter) require for longevity. Guest makes a whole
line of chargers that are designed for deep cycle flooded, or gel batteries,
which will ensure your battery is maintained properly. A good resource on
