If you search for Selway-Fisher boat designs in UK, you can find a boat
called the Simplicity 14. It is very Potterish, yet much simpler to
build. (Only 11 sheets of 1/4inch exterior ply). Plans are only about
$75 (I've got a set. Not for sale.) Looks like it could be built in a
small garage very quickly.
