My son and I lost our prop while sailing/fishing Strawberry Res. this
summer.
Fortunately I had 8' oars stowed in the cabin. We easily rowed the mile
from camp to the marina. With my son at the forward aspect of the cockpit
faceing aft and I in the aft portion of the cockpit faceing forward, we
were able to double team the oars with surprising ease and impressive
speed. It's a bit more work for one , and somewhat difficult if heading
into the wind with heavy chop however. By the way if you break a shear
pin, you may need to reuse the stock carter key. The replacement shear
pins I purchased from West Marine provided a carter key with a shaft dia.
too narrow to lock the prop to the shaft.
