Bill,
I just bought a P19 in March (new from the factory), so while I lack the
experience of many years of ownership, I can relate well to wanting to
improve or customize this neat little boat.

>1) Retrofitting:
I use a hand-held VHF but I bought one of those under-the-kitchen-cabinets
AM/FM/CD boxes (GE) and mounted it just forward of the forward hatch (four
screws thru the foredeck secured with fender washers (painted white) and
sealed with plumber's putty). Works great.

>2) How have you wired some of these components?
AC line to an inverter. Get about 4 CDs worth of play or all day radio.

>6) The trailer: 50 psi is recommended for my 13" tires on my Baja.

>7 Are 2 adult males and 2 adult females all of average size and weight a
crowd?

I solo sail most of the time but one time I invited 3 friends and the weight
of 4 adults in the cockpit threw the bow too far out of the water for decent
handling. Plus tacking is worse than musical chairs. Never again!

>9) Hull Painting: Suggestions? Ideas? Recommendations? Best
anti-fouling paint. Is it reasonable for me to attempt painting my WWP 19’s
hull bottom over the winter while it sits on the trailer and in my garage?
How much paint does it take to adequately cover a WWP 19 hull?

I did mine on the trailer in my garage with one gallon of paint. Better to
thin the paint and put on two thin coats rather than 1 thick coat right out
of the can.

remember to slide the hatch closed. Hardest part is attaching the forestay
without dropping the pin or ring into the water, but if you can rig a
forestay downhaul and cleat it off, you don't need 3 hands.

Hope this helps a little.
