Solar and gang,

I ALWAYS leave my main furled on the boom during sailing season. I remove
boom
and put it in the cabin whether trailering or at the slip.

I NEVER have removed my side stays. I stuff them thru the cabin door and
slide
the hath down gently over them. Then I quickly tie the shrouds and halyards
in
3 places with short lines (square knots). Could use bungees, but haven't.

Haven't tried to fold the boom. HUMMM? Might experiment.

Folding the boom? I meant pulling topping lift until boom is parallel to
mast. then tying to mast and lowering mast.
