my 88 P19 has the handrails on the cabintop about midway between the hatch
slide rails and the edge of the cabintop. To make more usable room on the
cabintop for sunbathing or whatever, I'm thinking of moving them either
outboard so they are much closer to where the cabin sides meet the top, or
inboard, atop the hatch rails, as I recently saw in another picture, which
apparently the factory was doing for a while. Before I start drilling holes,
has anyone else played with rail position and have a preference? The inboard
idea seems a little intriguing because I could eliminate 4 more holes. I
find my handrail holes tend to leak, even when bedded and sealed, just
because they get so much use, so piggybacking them seems like a decent idea.
