Your #362 would be a gunter-rigged Potter. It should have a wooden mast and
two other wooden spars unless it has been updated to a different rig. The
original rigging and sailing instructions for your boat are on the web at
<http://www.lesbois.com/wwpotter/articles/GunterRig.htm>. Also check the
Potter Yachters web page at <http://songbird.com/potter_yachter> for many
photos and info about Potters and links to other Potter sites.

Feel free to post any questions on this mail list. I have an even older
gunter rig and will be glad to help.

There was a famous voyage of a Potter from California to Hawaii, but I
think that was an earlier gunter rig like mine. I believe it was
subsequently sold and then lost on an attempt to sail to another island.

You might want to join the Potter Yachters. We're in the San Francisco Bay
area so I guess that makes us your closest Potter club.
