I installed a drain in the bottom of the storage compartment. Though this
was for the purpose of allowing gas leaks (I store propane and butane
there)
to drain overboard, it works for water as well. Belowdecks, I tee'ed it
into
the cockpit drain line. I also installed two additional (larger) cockpit
drains, one in each rear corner of the cockpit.
