Yes, James, a fixed molded fiberglass motor mount has been standard on the
Potters for quite a few years. I think, but I'm not positive, that the new
Potters are now coming with the lift mount. As you have found out, this is a
major improvement. When the P-14 was named the P-15 (and the 18 renamed the
19) this extra foot was actually that molded fiberglass mount. With the lift
mount, the Hondas should fit fine. I'm positive about the 2, I am not so sure
the larger Hondas would be appropriate, but unless you're operating a Potter
tug boat, why bother?
