Do we even need to worry about galvanic corrosion if our simple shore power
systems are in no way connected to these parts? I have been thinking of
adding a small zinc to my ungalvanized keel just in case... but my rusty old
keel definitely needs work. I haven't decided if I'm going to be bold enough
to try to remove it and have it galvanized or just refinish it in-situ. I
can get to the entire keel one way or another from within the cabin or
underneath, but it sure would be easier to work on out of the boat.
