I own P-19 #375 made in 1986. Most of the hardware is original and I've
never had a problem. Sailed with all sails up in over 17 kts of wind
many times. The only problem with HMS Marine quality was in bedding the
hardware. I've had my share of leaks. For the price of a used Potter
and a little work you can have a sturdy little yacht.
