Y'all getting sick of hearing from me yet?

I mentioned a while back that the rivets holding my curtainrods up in my P19
are leaking. I'm planning on plugging the holes with my trusty Marine-tex
and basically just gluing the rods back up on the inside with 3M 5200. Is
5200 strong enough for this task? From everything I've heard ("52-forever")
it should be, but I've never used it before. The rods and the curtains they
support are very light weight.
