I installed two flush-mount speakers on either size of the lazarette, above
the cockpit seats. The stereo I mounted in the starboard cabinet, just
forward of the access door and as high up as I could. I generally like
how it worked out, but find that we often brush against it while moving
fore-and-aft to starboard, usually en-route to the head. The result of this
inadvertant contact is a significant change in the volume. :)
My advice - get a stereo without knobs if you're going to mount it here.
I did ask on the list before installing mine; the factory install is
similar to what I did.
