Hi

I get the digest instead of individual letters
so this will be an amalgam of all the subjects
I thought I could address.

Boat Lettering:

The lettering I used I got from Academy Sporting goods
it was the same lettering I used for my registration number
not fancy but it works. It consisted of six to ten sheets of
sticky vinyl with the letters pre-cut about three inches high.

If your handy with a paint program like Macdraw or MSPaint
you can probably use it to draw your boat's name then take the
*.bmp files to a local sign shop that makes vinyl signs.

I spoke to a sign maker once who told me his vinyl lettering
was made with a printer connected to a computer.

Head Room:

It would perhaps bring me closer to marital bliss
if there was some way to increase head room on the potter 19
with out decreasing stability and strength. So bring it on.

Phone Scam:

BTW this phone scam is old news. It first appeared on another
mailing list "comp.risks" last year sometime.

Leonids Meteor Shower:

Next week the Leonids meteor shower will fall on Nov 17 and 18.
Best viewing will be around 4 am. There's a lake (Buchanon)
near me that'll be pretty dark at that time of day that I hope
to be ghosting around on the 17th. I only hope I can still go to
work the next day and be productive.
