I should have asked this earlier. I just set up one of those solar
trickle chargers, $15.00 from Harbor Freight, to keep the Capri battery
topped up. It had a cigarette lighter plug, so I got a cigarette
lighter socket and wired it up to the battery with the plug in a
convenient location. I assumed that the inside contact of the plug and
socket is positive and the outside is negative, so that is how I wired
it to the battery. Did I do that right, or should I go back and reverse
the connections? There were no instructions for either part. I have +
on the inside and - on the outside.
Thanks!
