Hello Judith, this posting seems to be useful for the list also so Im cross
posting it.

<< I'm getting frustrated! We can't store our P-19 at home and I can't find a
marina around here that has dry storage and a launch ramp that I can get to
without lowering the mast. But they all have hoists for launching keel
boats.

Well Judith, I can suggest two options. First is to have a sail maker to sew
you a lifting harness for the potter. Basicly it's a set of lifting straps
with a single or double bottom strap to keep the lift straps in place during
lifting/lowering.

Second option seems almost anti-american...(Sharing <G>) Check about for a
local Boy Scout (or simular Tax Exempt Group) and "Donate" the use of your
boat to them in exchange for berthing and_dedicated_For_ YOUR_USE_available
time.

The current Tax Laws allow a fairly generous Tax Deduxtion for fair use by
these groups and some Boy Scouts that cannot afford to sail get a chance to
enjoy your Potter. Your Insurance and such are also thus Tax Deductable for
the amount of time it's "Available" for their use. Even if they are not using
it and you happen to be enjoying it.... >Smile<

Just a couple of thoughts.
