Jerry,

I have been sailing my 1990 Potter 19 for 3 years and have never used a plug in
the cockpit drain. I was told it was a self bailing cockpit and didn't need a
plug. Have NEVER had any water come IN the drain even with preety rough water
and following seas. Have had water go OUT after showers, rain and spray. I did
have a leaky drain line when I bought it which I replaced.

How about it Potter 19 sailors? Am I supposed to buy a bottle of wine so I can
have a cork? When do you cork and when don't you? Is the 15 different that it
needs to be corked?
