On Jerry's suggestion (an officer's request is a command), the Potter
Yachters will daysail from Richmond next Saturday, Nov. 21. Jerry
recommends having your boats in the water by 9 am. We'll probably sail over
to Angel Island if weather and seas permit, which is likely this time of
year. Angel Island's Ayala Cove ("Hospital Cove") should be uncrowded this
late in the season. Should it be too windy, the inner harbor at Richmond is
still a good sail, Jerry tells me.
This time, if the weather forecast Saturday morning is for possible
showers, don't look for me. Last time out the rains came as soon as I had
launched. My boat never left the dock except to go back on the trailer
after I bailed her out.
