Hi Paul. I use a safety harness. I installed a stout stainless steel pad
eye (four bolts backed by plywood) on the forward wall of the cockpit, just
below the cabin hatch. I put another one on the forward deck - though I
have to date never used it - (I avoid going forward when on the water - but
then one never knows- better safe than sorry etc.) Only time I fell
overboard, of course I wasn't using it; - calm day, inland waters, teaching
my daughter to sail, no wind etc etc. - must be a lesson in there
somewhere.
