I thought the folks on the Potter list might be interested to know that the
CDI furler MiniSST has been discontinued and replaced by the the FF1 model.
The following is a letter I received from CDI (http://www.sailcdi.com/)
following my inquiry.

Dear Ms. Blumhorst:

Thanks for visiting our web site. I understand you are looking at furlers
for your West Wight Potter 19 and you would like to know the difference
between the MiniST and the FF1. Both systems are reefing / furling
systems. The FF1 was introduced last February and it replaces the MiniST
in our product line. The FF1 has a new larger (in width) luff extrusion
than the MiniST. The new extrusion also has two grooves which makes
handling the internal halyard easier than the one groove of the MiniST.
The FF1 spool is also a new design from the MiniST.

The FF1 has the same price as the MiniST, $375.

I hope this answers your questions.

Best regards,
Julie Femino
