This questions gets asked repeated in the rec.boats.cruising and
alt.sailing.asa newsgroups. There have been thousands, literally, of postings
on this topic.

Go to www.dejanews.com. Select advanced search. Use key word "bottom". Set
the date range for the last 3 months or else you'll get hundreds of posts.
Set the forum for "rec.boats.* " or "alt.sailing.asa". Hit search. Take a
look at your results and, if you get hundreds of news groups postings, refine
your search.
