Nissan just came out with a new 5 HP four stroke outboard. IM has started
offering these engines with their new P.19's. Gary Zimmer of Modesto CA. just
purchased a new Potter with this engine. West Marine is a big Nissan
distributor and you can mail order parts easily. I am considering retiring my
Mariner 4 and getting one of these. I know they are lighter and cheaper than
the Hondas. Does anyone know if you can lay one of these on it's side after
use without any problems? I always transport my outboard in the back of my
