Hay folks,

I finally got out and tried to not kill my shear pins. Keeping the motor in
gear all the time worked great, and wasn't even inconvenient.

It also was the first time out with the halyards run aft, and it was
fantastic! Well worth the 12 holes I had to put in the boat...

And, I got my timing down to 15 minutes for setup and 15 for takedown of the
rigging (timing is from the time I got out of the car to rig, to the time I
got back in to launch, with sails ready to hoist). I don't think 10 minutes
is possible, but 15 seems to be close enough.

I want to thank everybody that has responded to my requests for help in
these areas. Nothing life threatening, I know, but it has really kept my
interest in completing some of these things in what (I thought) would be a
long winter until I could go sailing again. Who knew that there would be
one more perfect 79 degree day in December to get out and sail!

Take care,
