Good for you, making sure the boat will fit BEFORE you buy it/try to fit it
in!

I've recently been through the same thing.... the P19, on the factory Garges
trailer, is approx 21 feet long... the bow pulpit, with the tongue wheel
cranked all the way to the lowest position, & the mast removed, is approx 7
feet above the ground... my garage door is 8 feet wide by 7 feet high....
boat width fits fine, but I have to pivot the tongue wheel up & slide the bow
pulpit under the door, then re-pivot the wheel & crank it back up once
inside... the mast is approx 23 ft long & I store it on the floor, under the
trailer.

We're currently building a new house & added a 3rd garage bay, indeed sized to
accomodate the P19! It will have a 24 ft by 14 ft bay, with a 9 ft wide by 8
ft high door.... this should allow us to back the boat/trailer in the door
with no gymnastics required, except for having to lower the mast crutch one
stop in the rudder gudgeons... by my estimate, the mast should be able to
remain in its usual trailering position on top of the bow pulpit. Good luck!
