As long as we are asking, I would like to see a Potter 15 with leeboards
solving in one move the cabin space, board lifting, daggerboard well leaking
when loaded, and board refinishing problems. They work well on the Dovekie and
other small and large boats but might require more hull modifications than
most owners would like to get into.

I would replace the small ballast weight lost with a compartment to hold
removable water containers to best ballast and handle fore and aft trim at the
same time. WIth water there is no effect on the Potter's floatation!
Eventually IM could even look into MacGregor's solution of integral water
ballast but I would suggest not pushing the price up and leaving that space
flexible for batteries or storage for longer cruises.

Am currently budgeting, slowly looking for a used 15 but this modification
would make me wait for a new one.

I appreciate the chance to hang out on this list and learn...
