Hey, gang:

I have a few questions about P-19 bimini tops that you who have already
installed them may be able to answer. Thanks in advance for any help you can
provide.

1. What is the height and width of yours?

2. Is it mounted on the cockpit coaming or atop the cockpit rail?

3. Do you fold it to the bow or the stern when not in use?

4. Did you buy it from IM or a marine supply place? Cost?

5. Did it come with a zippered boot to protect it when folded up?

Again, thanx.

I have a non standard white vinyl Bimini that is 6' long and 88" wide x 42"
high. ( I recall cutting a few inches off of it) with stainless steel poles.
It sits on the small outboard coaming lip by the rubrail and covers to edge of
boat. It is 4 to 6" below boom when sail is up. I am planning to put track on
coaming lip to be able to slide Bimini forward above cabin hatch, that way we
can cover hatch and also board boat easily from astern.

You can get a similar bimini at discount places for approximately 300 bucks
(SS poles) or 189 bucks (AL) but you have to shop around and watch for
specials. I have white because in tropics dark colors get too hot and broil
your brain...

Try a place called skipper's in Miami, Overton's and boat trader... BoatUS and
West Marine are way too expensive... I do believe the IM one is pretty nice
but I needed more coverage from sun.

Good luck
