Upon recently relocating to the Chicago area, I am considering my first
purchase of a trailerable sailboat for excursions onto beautiful Lake
Michigan. My father-in-law in Virginia recently purchased a P-15 and
recommends that I take a look at P-19s for me and my family.
The opening photo on the website shows a P-15 on Lake Michigan -
suggesting that there just may be experienced Potter sailors in this
area.
I would be interested in any comments from the listserv members re:
sailing the P-19 on Lake Michigan and would like to identify owners in
the Chicago area who might be willing to let me take a look at their
sailboat sometime this spring.
