My 1985 WWP-19 has a one-piece fiberglass liner in the cabin that forms the
v-
berth, the port&starboard cabinetsand the aft quarter berths. It has
virtually no
cabinets for storage, just one big open space under the liner from the bow to
the stern. Amidships, there is a sink cabinet on the portside and a "porta
Potty" cabinet on the starboard side. There are no bulkheads to divide the
space up, and something stored can slide several feet forward or aft when we
hit a big wake. There are a few small "cut outs" in the horizontal panels
with plywood inserts that can be lifted off to access the storage area.

Has anyone done anything to make organizing the storage space easier?

I'd like to cut openings in the liner and install cabinets, shelves, bins,
etc.
I am not a skilled woodworker, and I don't have the tools for joinery, so
I'd
like to buy ready-mades or kits. Does anyone know of a source for this other
than the local home improvement store?

As an alternative, I am thinking about installing teak louvred doors and
putting waterproff bags inside. I would probably line the hull with a sheet
of foam to reduce condensation inside the hull.

Can someone point me in the direction of a book with hints on how to design
and do this?

I use transparent plastic containers of a size big enough to fit through
hatches to under cabinet areas and larger ones for under berth areas. The
ones inside the cabinets are too large to flow forward or backwards... Each
one is labeled as to contents.

Am considering glassing in some bulkheads between areas... Bulkheads will be
made of heavy duty fiberglass cloth epoxied flat on a wax paper tray and cut
to size then glassed in place where needed. Wood does not belong in that high
humidity environment under the cabs or berths...
