Hmmm, sixty would be a bit bulky and hard to manage.... maybe I should look
for block foam somewhere and carve it to fit the shape of the hull. Too bad,
because even if they're only 1/3 of a cubic foot, you can't beat the price for
closed cell foam ($6/cu.ft.)! The marine foam is about $40/cu. foot.

I think the ones I used last spring for a dinghy I rebuilt had a larger
diameter than 3". I put 6 or 8 of them in a dinghy that I rebuilt last
spring. They were a little smaller than the 6" inspection hatch I installed,
so I'd guess they were about 5" diameter.

My husband bought them at Walmart, or Costco, or Toys-R-Us, They had HUGE bins
of them, all different sizes and shapes for $2 each.
