Greetings all:

We've heard that we shouldn't be worried about hydrogen but what
about butane? Does this gas float or sink? Is it safe to use in an
enclosed space or in the house? My 1997 P-19 came with a neat little
single burner butane stove which I have found very useful (coming from
a minimalist sea kayaker background). Any comments, entertaining or
otherwise, will be appreciated.

I know that it is not safe to use combustion appliances in our houses but
we all use natural gas stoves. Is butane similar?

P.S. For those of you in Florida, Texas and California, here it is currently
-22 degrees Celsius with a severe wind chill warning making it feel like
-40 degrees Celsius. Oh, I wish I was in paradise. (-18 degrees Celsius
equals 0 degrees Farenheit)
