Yep, my experience in Florida (the brackish water of Sykes Creek in Merritt
Island) was exactly as SolarFray describes. If I got lazy and left my
epoxy-painted wooden pram in the water for a few days it would have
barnacles on the bottom and grass at the waterline. Someone should harvest
or synthesize the adhesive those critters use. It dries hard and strong.
