Thanks Judy for the great pics/drawings. Even though I haven't sailed
BonnieLEA yet, I am quite interested in setting her up for single handing
since I'll not always have a crew. I would be interested in more pictures
of the systems folks have set up to run the lines aft. There is a plethora
of equipment out there, and as many configurations, the only pictures I have
seed where of "HAMADA". Until I sail her a couple times I won't know
exactly what I prefer but would probably know enough by mid summer to
purchase the hardware.

I have the CDI furling system on the forestay, and didn't buy the Jib
downhaul for that reason. I have the stock Jib and the Genoa/hardware. I
have heard I can reef the genoa to Lapper size, and then all the way to
storm Jib size, with those two configurations being usable, but the
in-between configs are not usable. What is the groups experience? Would
there be a reason to have a Jib Downhaul with this system?

Also, I am stripping the hull and deck of my Glen-L14. I was going to
re-varnish her using a 50/50 varnish/thinner for the first coat, 70/30 v/t
for the second coat and then 2 100% varnish coats (as per a past Wooden Boat
article). I am now considering a couple epoxy coats. The inside is
varnished and in good shape for the most part due to being stored inside
winters and covered summers. I have not contacted West or the G brothers,
just wondered if the group has any experience with refinishing with Epoxy vs
building from scratch and problems that can ensue with the former. She will
be for sale later this summer, tilt trailer and all, if any one is
interested. Built professionally in Minneapolis around 1985 and gently
sailed since.

Hi Gang,

I got quite a few inquiries about both the Mast Step Plate/Halyard
Orgainizer
as well as the Vang arrangements. I got tired of emailing out pictures to
folks today. So I slapped together a web page with some pictures and
descriptions.

If you like it and would like to see more of this type of stuff, please let
me
know.
