In the early 60's I was a counselor at Camp Namequoit on Cape Cod for a summer. At the end of the season 4 of us set out from Orleans in 2 Tigercat catamarans to Nantucket. It was a pleasant trip, good weather, and the cats made good time. We stayed at a private residence for a week, then sailed the boats back. Except for a little rain and no interior space to get out of the weather, the return trip was uneventful, too.
Would be very interested in making the trip again in my P15 with others who want to try it. I believe the little boats are ideal for that kind of cruising. Will continue to watch the list for further developments.
