Hi again Ed,
Have you considered replacing your wooden boom with an aluminum one? it would
be a lot less work than doing what I suggested to repair it. Not as pretty
though.
Harry posted a link to a spar manufacturer not too long ago, IM sells
replacement booms at a reasonable price , or I have a used P-19 boom with
gooseneck available if you live near SF Bay.
