A friend of mine sails his P-14 at Lake Pleasant. The lake is located NNW of
Phoenix and is easy to reach. There are two boat launching ramps and a
marina. I believe the cost to launch is $6 (park entry fee). Gets pretty hot
here in the summer but nice most of the rest of the year. The down side is
sharing the lake with power boats, jet skis and the like. There are other
lakes reachable from the Phoenix area but I am not familiar with them.
