Ted: as a safety precaution, I think it's best to have the bow stop _above_
the retrieving line. Reason: in a sudden stop, the boat may try to rise up
over the roller and slide forward. If the retrieving line is _under_ the
roller, the boat can't rise. Better: put a hold-down from the bow eye
tending down and aft to the trailer.
