Hi Folks

I thought I'd rig Frimi so all lines could be handled from the
cockpit. I bought a couple of jam cleats and a couple of U bolts. I
placed the U bolts on either side of the mast about a foot away from
the mast. I put one clam cleat on the starboard side aft of the dome
light. I used the mast raising systen cam cleat for the other side.
This system worked during my little sail on the Buchannon Lake.

My Dome light doesn't work anymore! I drilled and plugged eight holes.
These holes are small, big enough for #8 machine screws. The area of
the cabin top is realatively large. Yet I was able to ACCIDENTLY cut
the positive wire leading to the dome light with one of these holes.
Murphy strikes again.

The advice to be careful wouldn't work here, I don't think unless those
wires are lead through a channel in the cabin top plywood that's in the
same place on every P-19.

Maybe I'll see if I can measure some voltage on one of those U bolts or
cleats.
