I've recently bought a TV card for my Mac. It allows watching TV on my
computer, but more important, I can capture frames from any video source.
That means I can use my camcorder when I want a photo for the web or
e-mail.

The iX TV card for the Power Mac G3 is about $110. There are similar cards
for PCs. Cheaper than a digital camera but is limited to screen resolution
- just fine for Internet use.
