All,

As I am not a metallurgist I cannot speak for the relative merits,
and/or critical material properties, of the various grades of steels
which could (should?) be used to build our Potters, but I do have
question, or two, which hopefully fits into the scope of this evolving
thread. Has anyone out there in Potterland experienced problems with
their standing rigging, or perhaps even complete rigging failure, due to
fatigue at or around the wire terminals (thimbles and compression
sleeves)? Does anyone know of someone who has?

Tnx,

Paul
