First on Honeymoons. I'd plan for lots of downtime. Where I am not
going to be anywhere at any time. The extracurricular activities
can take time. Also the yelling I do when under stress as skipper
leads to hurt fealings that take time to heal.
I injured my bride doing something I'd never done before. We still
deal with it today.
On Charts, the responses I read didn't satisfy my curiosity about
the mechanics of using charts on extended cruises.
The stories I've read detail using parallel rulers, pencils,
a chart table, compass and sexton. How do you deal with all this
stuff on a 19' Potter, no place for a table, and otherwise cramped
interior, these aspects of the Potter seem to preclude the easy
use of large scale maps and all that paraphenalia.
