Harry,
Last week I was told about a device which is about the size of a pocket
organizer, which can be held up to any telephone to send and receive E-mail.
It's called Pocketmail service and the devices cost between $100.00 and
$150.00. Monthly service is $10.00. I'm trying to get more information at
this time because this sounds like just what I need when traveling (Sob, no
laptop!).
There is a little information at:

Service</A>

Maybe someone on this list has one?

Why don't you try a Geo battery Portable computer from Office Depot? It sells
for about 400 bucks and can send/receive e-mail plus has a diskette, parallel
port, serial port, word processing, spreadsheet and communications software.
No HD but no monthly fees as you can use your curret ISP.

Check and see what Bill Combs has as he travels all the time and still
receives and sends e-mail.
