Greg,

I started out leaving the motor on, but after awhile got convinced to tak
eit off, and since I tow with a Ford f150 that's only a grunt and groan
problem. Some folks leave them on and some take them off.

I only undo the forestay and tuck it and what I can of the sidestays into
the cabin and slife the door down on them. I wrap a line around the stays
and mast to keep them from banging, but bunges would work.
